...to join in a bike ride...
...to meet like-minded people...
...to help raise funds for a worthy cause...
...to gather for an afternoon of food and fellowship...
... to have FUN!!!
When?... Saturday, September 13, 2008 Where?... The Lions Arena
42490 North Kaweah River Drive
Three Rivers, California 93271
Why?... To help raise funds and awareness for The Smile Train, an organization where 100% of all tax-deductible donations go directly toward the child's operation to repair their cleft lip and palate; 0% goes toward overhead and expenses.

THE DETAILS...
Everyone, whether participating in the rides or not will be required to fill out the application form found elsewhere on this site, submit a $50.00 per person (which can be paid via Paypal, check or money order) non-refundable registration fee (which helps pay for the use permits, insurance and all the food), and sign a release waiver the day of the event (a copy can be found elsewhere on this site).
SPECIAL NOTE If, for some reason, you can't attend the event, your registration fee will act as a donation to The Smile Train.
All donations should be in a check or money order (please no cash), made out to The Smile Train, and brought to the event. The Smile Train will be able to give each individual a tax receipt if so desired.
On Saturday, September 13, 2008, all riders will gather at the Lions Arena from 7:00 am to 8:00 am to sign in. Volunteers will be available to assist in parking, registering, and any general questions one may have.
All rides will begin promptly at 8:30 am.
Families are encouraged to join in one of the rides. Family members who won’t be joining in any of the rides can easily find plenty to do in town, or enjoy the sites in Sequoia National Park six (6) miles away!
All rides will begin in Three Rivers. The road bike riders (25 & 50 miles) will head south, while the mountain bike riders (20 miles) will head north, arriving back at the Lions Arena anywhere from four (4) to six (6) hours later for a well deserved meal, and plenty of time to socialize with fellow riders.
Sag and technical support will be available along the road bike routes. No sag support on the mountain bike route.
As an added bonus, the first 50 people who register, will receive FREE, a T-SHIRT and OTHER SCHWAG commemorating the event; a $50.00 value!
Please join me on this special day as we become a Tour de Force, and give these deserving children something to really smile about!
See you on the trail,
Kevin
